There are condition issues, the gun has missing pieces, his hat brim is chipped and missing its feather. This vintage figurine is a beautiful hand-carved head of a forester, made by Jaschke Pretzl in Austria. The intricate carvings and hand-painted details make this piece a true work of art. Measuring 6 inches in length and 2 inches in width, it is suitable for display in any room and perfect for all occasions. “Der Herr Oberförster” ,in English “The Head Forester” figurine is hand carved from wood and features a wood grain pattern. He’s wearing a traditional outfit. It is a retired piece from the mid-20th century, signed by the artist with a label in the back and was made using hand carving production technique.
